Nature of Services

Seva Senior Homes provides residential senior living, accommodation, meals, housekeeping, companionship and agreed day-to-day assistance.

Seva Senior Homes is not a hospital, nursing home, ICU, rehabilitation centre or secured memory-care facility.

We do not provide hospital-level treatment, continuous skilled nursing, ventilator support or guaranteed medical outcomes.

Admission

Admission is subject to:

• Initial discussion and suitability assessment
• Resident consent wherever applicable
• Ability of Seva Senior Homes to safely support the resident
• Room availability
• Completion of required documents
• Acceptance of applicable charges and terms

Submitting an enquiry or visiting the property does not guarantee admission.

Pricing and Billing

Charges depend on the selected room, occupancy and support requirements.

The room charge and any Daily Assistance add-on are separate unless specifically stated otherwise.

Daily Assistance may include additional support with routine activities, mobility, medication reminders or personal assistance. It does not include continuous nursing or hospital care.

Unless specifically included, the following are charged separately:

• Doctor consultations
• Medicines
• Hospitalisation
• Nursing services
• Ambulance services
• Medical tests
• Physiotherapy
• Medical equipment
• Other third-party services

Final pricing will be communicated before admission.

Trial Stay

Where offered, eligible residents may opt for a 30-day trial stay, subject to:

• Suitability assessment
• Resident consent
• Room availability
• Applicable payment
• Completion of required documentation

A trial stay does not guarantee permanent admission or future room availability.

Additional assistance, medical or third-party costs may be charged separately.

Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellation, notice period and refund conditions will be communicated during booking or admission.

Generally:

• Charges for services already used are non-refundable.
• Third-party expenses already incurred may be deducted.
• Outstanding dues may be adjusted against refundable deposits.
• Any refundable balance will be processed according to the applicable admission terms.

The signed booking or admission agreement will contain the final terms applicable to each resident.

Medical Emergencies

Seva Senior Homes is not an emergency medical facility.

In an emergency, staff may contact the resident's family, doctor, ambulance service or hospital and take reasonable steps to protect the resident's safety.

Medical, ambulance and hospital expenses are normally payable separately by the resident or family.

Resident and Family Responsibilities

Residents and families must provide accurate information about:

• Medical conditions
• Medicines
• Allergies
• Mobility limitations
• Behavioural or cognitive concerns
• Dietary requirements
• Emergency contacts
• Support requirements

Important changes in a resident's health or assistance needs should be communicated promptly.

Change in Support Needs

If a resident's condition changes and their needs can no longer be safely supported at Seva Senior Homes, we may recommend additional support, hospitalisation, transfer or another suitable care arrangement.

Limitation of Liability

Seva Senior Homes will take reasonable care to provide the agreed residential services.

However, we cannot guarantee prevention of every illness, fall, medical emergency, hospitalisation or other unforeseen event.

We are not responsible for the professional services or outcomes of independent doctors, hospitals, ambulance providers or other third-party service providers.

Nothing in these Terms limits any responsibility that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
